A Gem of Hospitality

attentive staffdelicious cocktailsgreat valuecross-contamination
The staff was so attentive and catered to my needs, from delicious cocktails to providing warm milk for my niece! I appreciated the care and attention received and felt the stay was great value given all the amenities. The spa was immaculate and peaceful. It had everything needed including an outdoor hot tub.
The breakfast was terrible, and the coffee was from a filter flask you'd see at a community hall! There was also a lot of cross-contamination with the buffet. I couldn't eat anything safely.
Rooms
9/10
The suite had great space, and the bed was comfortable with fresh, clean bed linen, particularly the duvet and pillows. A digital heater provided warmth, and the bathroom included excellent quality amenities with a subtle perfume. There were a few coffee capsules and tea as well.
Facilities
9/10
The spa was immaculate with ample space to relax and chat, offering water, towels, and apples. I found all the expected facilities, including an outdoor hot tub. the general manager was accommodating, which isn't always guaranteed.
Dining
8/10
The restaurant offered a tasty menu with daily specials, providing ample choices. The staff were particularly attentive and polite, especially the barman. The special venison dinner was really popular with my family. They were cooked perfectly to order.

constant noiseoutside voice
i found the room far from soundproof. i constantly heard noise from outside, which really disrupted my sleep. it seemed like people were always talking loudly early in the morning, even during what should have been quiet hours for vacationers. another night, some guests returned from a party around 1 am and caused a huge ruckus with fighting and furniture moving. this led me to call the front desk in frustration.
